Isaac sang his ABC's in Spanish for the family talent show!

Noah sang"All I Want For Christmas is My 2 Front Teeth" in Spanish. He actually figured out the translation all on his own with the exception of just a few words.

Ciera played Jingle Bells which she taught herself to play on the piano!

Seat Belt Tug-a-War

So we went to Arizona to spend Thanksgiving with family. A trip to Arizona means 5 boys that are 5 and 6 years old which = lots of craziness!

This is what happens when two little boys decide to play tug-a-war with the seat belt. The only problem was Noah decided to use his teeth. And no his tooth was not loose before this trip.

Once he was able to wiggle it he was determine to get it out!

We have Uncle Spencer to thank for this one. Noah wiggled and wiggled and he couldn't get it out, and uncle Spencer was happy to help.

This year Ciera's school play was about the US Presidents

Ciera had the leading role of Ms. Docent. She did a great job, I think she had everyone's lines memorized just like last year!

The wizard of Oz

So Ciera had this idea (insisted actually) that the family all dress up together as Wizard of Oz characters for a Halloween party. We realized she was really serious about 3 hours before the
party and hurried to put some costumes together.

It all turned out pretty well for the amount of time we had to get ready.

Porter might not agree with that in a few years but he's the only one without the verbal skills
to protest.

The funnies part of the evening was when another little girl dressed as Dorothy said "mom look it's another Dorothy.....pause..... mom that's a boy" as she pointed the mom trying to whisper said "no honey it's a girl shhh" girl responded "no mom it's a boy" the mom louder and more embarrassed now "shhh stop it, it's a girl, stop saying that". This probably could have gone on forever because the little girl wasn't giving up so I finally blurted " yeah it's a boy....we needed a Dorothy". and then continued to walk to the refreshment table, leaving a very puzzled
woman behind.

Yes, he found Ciera's boots, but I guess he needed boots that were 8 sizes to big so he could have a place for his sword right??

Porter's fashion parade!!!

On a daily basis my little my man has countless costume changes. On occasion I actually think to grab the camera so that I can document precious moments for future blackmail. They are to cute and to funny not to share.


Yes that is a sock on his hand, and thank you Grammy he can now fill his obsession with boot in the right size at least.(I've hidden all the others)

Like I said too cute!!! The not cute part is trying to get him to change when we have to go somewhere. I have completely given up on the cowboy boots they go everywhere, even to bed sometimes.

Ciera has moved up to a green belt.

When Ciera was 3 she took on 2 neighbor boys who were giving her trouble, Josh stood by and watched, later saying it was one of his proudest moments to see his daughter send 2 boys running. Well things haven't changed much 7 years later and she's still kickin' butt. It's good to know she can hold her own!

Already with the girls, Erlyn(on the right) is Isaac "best" friend not "girl" friend. But his teachers always liked to tell me how cute they were always holding hands while they played together.







Really... what can I say, if you give a bunch of little boys swords and bandannas and tell them they're pirates, naturally chopping off heads is what comes next.
